Assay

Comparison of the binding of HBeAg to three aptamers, EAg0, EAg3, and EAg3-Py, containing modification of pyrrolo-dC. Varying concentrations (0-8nM) of HBeAg were incubated with 10 pM of each aptamer at room temperature for 1 h. The amount of aptamers bound to HBeAg was measured using the affinity real-time qPCR assay. A negative control of affinity assay was performed in parallel using an oligonucleotide sequence unable to bind to HBeAg (Table S1). Error bars represent one standard deviation from six analyses involving duplicate experiments
