| Assay | Comparison of the binding of HBeAg to three aptamers, EAg0, EAg3, and EAg3-Py, containing modification of pyrrolo-dC. Varying concentrations (0-8nM) of HBeAg were incubated with 10 pM of each aptamer at room temperature for 1 h. The amount of aptamers bound to HBeAg was measured using the affinity real-time qPCR assay. A negative control of affinity assay was performed in parallel using an oligonucleotide sequence unable to bind to HBeAg (Table S1).
